Norway and DSSN made a strong impression at the Rifle World Shoot III 2024 in Finland, with the largest participation outside of the host nation. Out of the 843 participants from 32 countries, the Norwegian contingent represented a significant portion.
DSSN fielded 79 shooters in the main competition along with 24 Range Officers, and Norway was positively noted both as a participant nation and as a key contributor to the event with skilled personnel.
The Norwegian shooters also performed exceptionally well in the medal competition.
We congratulate Sverre Idland, who became the world champion in Semi Auto Standard – Super Senior! A satisfied group of Norwegian medalists can now look back on a successful championship.

- Overall: Silver to Eirik Johannes Larsen.
- Senior: Bronze to Kjetil Edvardsen.
Semi Auto Standard (SAS):
- Overall: Bronze to Kenneth Handberg.
- Super Senior: Gold to Sverre Idland and Silver to Nils Knut Lindbo.

- Overall: Silver to Håvar Hommelsgård, Jan Terje Jørgensen, Nikolay Mustaparta, and Andreas Lyssand.
